The Best Yet!
Play Games at AddictingGames
Okay, this game is kickass, and because of this, I am stating ahead of time that it will be featured again in the near future. It’s not often that it happens, but certain games (such as Space Invaders and that kickass stick-man ski slope game) are just too good to be true! If you’re not addicted to this game within 5 minutes of playing it … well … go play in traffic instead!

Open Mic?
You know, I haven’t been to Open Mic in weeks! I mean, WEEKS! What is it that makes it so easy for us to get caught up in our lives … so entangled, that we forget to tend to the everyday things that make us who we are?
In the last few weeks, I’ve been wrapping up this book, arranging things for a wedding, reception, and honeymoon, avidly cleaning and organizing our home, entertaining, planning for school, and the so on.
Life is hard!
Remember the days when the most you had to worry about was when you were going to be allowed to go outside and play?
Harken back to the days of your childhood, when your chief concern was whether or not your mom or dad would take you to the park. Think back to the days before mortgages, credit cards, bank accounts, investments, retirement, scheduling, child-rearing, home management. Let’s be real, very few kids actually get to be kids in today’s world, but I don’t care what anybody says, I’d give my left ear to go running full speed and screaming my head off at the park around the block again.
Now that I am older and working hard to build my own family, it’s an altogether different and interesting experience. My “kids” so-to-speak, aren’t kids at all. My partner and I have both undergone the readjustment period together and are so focused on building and building and building.
I can’t lie though … we both are really good at taking some time off to enjoy the fruits of our labors *lol*

Gardening ‘n Stuff

my garden 5.20.2009
So, the garden is coming along really well, considering the setbacks (i.e. sandy, heavily rooted, weedy soil that hasn’t been tended to in years). I am a bit concerned about whether or not the plants will get enough sun, so if there is an expert in this area, please let me know.
So far, I’ve got tomatoes, green peppers (green, red, yellow), peas, onions, greens, spinach, butternut squash, pumpkin, cucumber, and … I’m forgetting one … oh yeah! And strawberries … but that’s kind of a secret!
I’m not too sure if and when everything will begin to sprout fruit and veggies, but I’m hopeful and optimistic!
Alright, I’m off to tend to the sick, work on tomorrow’s story update, and get ready for Stripper Night tonight at Rumors! There are going to be lots of excited bois & grrls there — gotta put my “game face” on
