The Top 10 Greatest Classic Rock Hits Of All Time

Okay, so I was just recently involved in a great debate regarding the greatest classic rock hits of all time. I went on-line (because Google is my electronic crack), and found a few different sites with various perspectives on this very topic. I found a list that was pretty close to the one that was being tossed around during the discussion and decided to create a playlist featuring each song for your enjoyment and discussion.

I’ll be honest and admit that I’m a late-comer to the scene. First of all, I’m only 27, so so-called “classic rock hits” tend to highlight songs that were written at least 10 to 20 years before I was even born. Second of all, I grew up on Motown, jazz, soul, blues, and R & B — it is, what it is.

That being said, I was lucky to enjoy the friendship of some pretty kickass, classic-rocking loving girls in college who laid a pretty nice foundation for what is now an avid love and appreciation of classic rock, complete with a little lovin’ for some 80′s hair bands.
